very unusual genuine antique item, not one of those "NEW" antiques, solid very heavy brass with lovely patina, the clock I think is probably not its original fitting although it does fit in , the clock itself is a/f doesn't work one hand is missing unless it is still in the case like the other is, it has a bevel glass front and it is dated 1876 and made by the central educational co ltd and made in Derby USA, overall it stands 7" high base is 4" diameter clock housing is 2.75" dia and is 1 5/8" deep it weighs over 1.5 kgs ! a very interesting item , please see the photo's, thanks.
