This is my go pro hero black with external 2 battery charger and 4 batteries. The case is water resistant but a hole has been cut in the side of the case (shown in photo) which allows the device to be powered whilst filming as it was used for time lapse. The hole can be covered with tape to make it water resistant but if you want to take it underwater get a new case, they are pretty cheap.
