The ladders are telescopic and are all working and solid. The open up and clip into space. The can also can be straightened to make a 12 foot single Ladder again with a clip opening and clip lock. The only slight issue is that the velcro on the strap for storage isn't to strong but doesn't affect the ladders when in use. Postage at cost £6.80
