Cosmetic condition is as shown in the pictures of the actual item. Tested, this unit is working. Both the FM and AM bands work. I believe the multiplex is working since I can hear a difference when i switch between the two modes. (I can't say how well the stereo mode works because I lost the hearing in one ear and can only hear in mono.) I replaced the dial lamp on the right. The dial slips a little, not all the time. The tubes are all Japanese (Hitachi). You probably should clean the tube sockets and controls (Deoxit, etc.) and wire brush the pins on the tubes. I don't think an alignment is necessary but it wouldn't hurt. Sold "As Is".
