It powers on normally in PLAYER mode (the viewfinder shows an image, but the picture in the viewfinder looks hazy/blurry), when moved to OFF it does switch off correctly, But when moved to CAMERA/POWER, the camera does NOT power on at all, It feels like the switch is stuck in the OFF position internally, so it never actually engages the CAMERA/POWER mode.
