This is a huge set of large Edwardian postal parcel scales & weights made by S.T.S . The scales are crafted from solid brass that’s silver plated with an Oak base , and were used for weighing large parcels up to around 12-14Lb . As a rare collectable item, they would make a great addition to any collection of interesting antiques and a wonderful display piece . The scales complete with eight original weights measure approximately 15” wide , 10” deep and stand 7” tall with a good original colour and patina and a weight of over 9Kg. Please remember this is now around one hundred plus years old and so will have some tiny marks, scratches and dents etc from use and light wear to the plating - see pictures.
