Owned from brand new, always worked in a garage but this was my own that I kept at home for my own use therefore has not been used extensively as always had access to work scanners. It is running the 17.4 software but this does not mean it can not scan new vehicles. With expert mode or other ways to ensure communication with the cars ecu this scanner has a number of functions it can still complete on cars 2017+. For your information it can do a number of functions such as live data tests to check parameters of engine components it can also code injectors and do dpf regeneration and much more.
