The Antique Brahma Statue is a beautifully crafted 4-headed statue made of brass or bronze (sorry I can’t tell!) with beautiful dark brown patina. On the underside there is some patina rubbed off that makes me think it’s brass but I am not 100% sure. It is hollow and has dotted lettering inside indicating it was made in India. This unique piece represents four heads of the Hindu deity Brahma, though some also believe it represents the Buddha/bodhisattva in Buddhism. This ornate spiritual Indian statue has four heads with beaded crowns and a flower between each figure. Around the top is a repeating symbol that looks like a hand. In the middle is a raised semi-circle with a crown-like top spire. It is about 7” tall and over 5” long but quite heavy.
