J M Glauser Marching Compass, 1937, MK IX, No B 1798

J M Glauser. Research on the internet indicates that this is a Marching Compass. No B. 1798 MK.IX. The compass and case are both intact but the compass has seen a great deal of service, possibly in the Second World War but the donor was a long-distance walker so it may have seen much more civilian use than military.
