The shape is a swirl, i.e. not a flat brooch. Sherman hallmark stamped on the back. CONDITION: Excellent, gently used - I see no sign of wear. I am helping my sister do a good Kondo-style decluttering of the jewelry chest, and she still has a number of Sherman brooches.
