I am not entirely sure with regards to the exact period of manufacture of this vintage Japanese doll, but I think it is likely to be mid-1950 or perhaps earlier 1960s. It is in overall excellent vintage condition, with well preserved fabric/textiles and no visible areas of damage. This figurine measures just above 17" or 43.5 cm, including the pedesta, is in a very good state of preservation overall and might become an interesting addition to an ethnographic collection.
