Antique silver plated syrup jug, believed to be by Rogers, Smith and Co. Made of quadruple silver plate, it features an ornate ivy design that continues along the handle and on the feet. There is some tarnishing, which will likely clean off. In the past I have cleaned this up beautifully. It has just had a quick polish up for sale. This type of jug was commonly used during the Victorian era to serve syrup, particularly at breakfast time.
