This is without doubt THE sharpest lens I have ever used, superb not just for Macro but aslso as a fast f2.8 Aperture general purpose medium length telephoto lens, great for portraits etc. I just love it and am only selling because I am changing systems from Leica SL2 and Panasonic S5 etc to a different system, BUT as soon as I have my plsn is to buy another such Sigma f2.8 Macro Art lens for for the system I am changing to. As to condition, I have never even used such as the carry case, or taken this lens any further than outside to photograph such as flowers and insects etc in my garden, so it genuinely is unmarked
