White painted antique day bed with a bespoke made to measure thick mattress which cost me £359 when made. This was perfect for my daughter as her first bed as it is wider than a single bed and it has the slightly raised wooden sides in places. Could be used as a day bed too. We had a really good quality mattress made for it as it doesn’t fit any standard sizes. The mattress is in great condition as it’s always had protectors. Now my daughter is 10 she needs something longer. It was painted and the paint could do with touching up in a couple of places or alternatively it could be stripped if it is being brought back to the antique pine. It’s a lovely piece.
