I upgraded recently from the free combined router / modem provided by my former phone line provider. I would say this is the basic model! But it worked fine til the day I switched it off - two months ago. 4 LAN ports, ethernet and power cable. I had one issue with it some years back with it not accepting the password as it appears on the back of the router - I reset it by holding a paperclip wire into the little reset hole to the right of the power plug. You will need to do the same on set up.
