A pair of antique 1831 Georgian era aquatint etchings framed. Depicting on one the the DEATH OF TOM MOODY the other one is the BURIAL OF TOM MOODY by Edward Duncan. Published by W J Wade. Length is nearly 60cm. Under glass. There is yellowing and extensive foxing on the paper of both pictures not uncommon in really old paper. To me it’s a sign it’s old and genuine. Under magnification I can see this is an antique aquatint. Not a modern copy of later offset print. It’s rare to find this pair of pictures together. Nicely framed. Old frames. Found in Cambridge England. They will be well packed and secured.
