Fabulous vintage sterling silver signed Alberto Contreras figural brooch - a roadrunner bird. Signed and marked sterling. Alberto Contreras was a former silversmith for Frank Patania. Roughly midcentury. Very nice, solid, apparently hand stamped piece. Dimensional design, with raised and lowered metal portions. This shows some to moderate patina and some wear, as pictured. It’s a beautiful piece. Some polish residue remains from a past polish. As pictured. This piece will have light wear. Most silver pieces have patina.
