It is a blackish in colour after use. The mixed epoxy turns from a silvery colour to “alloy” upon curing and will not yellow upon exposure to UV light. By moulding the epoxy stick around a bolt or screw, it can be used to create custom threaded inserts in aluminium for attaching fixtures or hardware.
