Up for sale is a classic Mosda 500 automatic petrol lighter from the 1950s. It features a nice engine-turned design with a vacant cartouche on the front for engraving. The lighter is in good vintage condition with some expected surface wear from age. Mechanically, the "automatic" flip-top action works perfectly. It currently produces a weak spark, which likely just means the flint is old and needs to be replaced with a fresh one. I have not added fuel, so it remains untested, but the wick is present and the mechanism is snappy. A lovely, simple restoration project or a great addition to a mid-century collection. Sold as-is.
