Jamie Smart won Illustrator of the Year at the British Book Awards 2024, and his comic book Bunny vs Monkey: Multiverse Mix-up won Children's Illustrated Book of the Year. He studied art at college for four years, but it was just an excuse to practise drawing animals with boggly-eyes.
