To wear or frame, a really stunning vintage hand rolled silk twill scarf in lovely condition by Hermès of Paris. Entitled “Plumes”, the scarf was designed by Henri de Linarès and first issued in1953 and then re-issued in 1999. Stunning colours and design. The scarf apparently displays about 176 different bird feathers which include plumage from a woodpecker, pintail duck, blue jay, pheasant and the wren! An beautiful, interesting scarf that would make a superb gift.
