Vintage The Simpsons Parody Lewisburg PA United States Penitentiary Jungle Fest 1990 T Shirt Unsure if this was made by an inmate or a CO of the prison at the time, but this tee is definitely the product of someone affiliated with the penitentiary back in 1990. Bart and The Simpsons parodies were very popular in the 90’s but to find an original prison related spoof isn’t easy to come by. I couldn’t find much information while researching “Jungle Fest” related to the prison itself but I did come across a riveting in-depth documentary HBO released in 1991 titled ‘Doing Time: Life Inside The Big House’ as apart of their series ‘America Undercover’.
