it's a little gummy but I don't clean things up to sell usually.. all mechanics are fine it seems Bell turns over it cranks just fine the drag works well.. it's actually a really nice reel! if I didn't have so many fishing rods I would probably hook it up on a steel rod or something to use.. but I don't fish that much any longer! it's a little gummy but it's a great workable fishing reel now.. and it's also a great foundation for a rebuild and repaint if that's what you're into.
