The unit powers on. The on/off button sticks, it does not want to turn off, you have to pull it out. The tech says it works, the switches are dirty/noisy. Item is sold as described. We have 2 sets of these listed, this set has only buttons, the other units are different in that they have a 4 number dial at the bottom you can change the numbers on.
