He is seated in a dhyanasana position displaying a tranquil facial expression framed by elongated ears with his hair in tight curls surmounted by an ushnisha or top knot. His hand gestures is in the Bhumisparsha Earth Touching Mudra or losition. I purchased this item from the estate of a Russian professor along with several other oriental items.
