Gunpowder teas typically have a dark coppery green colour, and produce a pale yellow green infusion, with a smooth slightly smoky cup and a sweetish finish. Infusion Colour: Pale yellow green. The best tea we have found to use is Pekoe Gunpowder from the Uva region of Sri Lanka.
