Land Rover Discovery 2 Double Cardan Propshaft Repair Kit The double cardan prop shafts fitted to the front of the Discovery 2 can be very expensive to replace, when often the only fault is a worn UJ. They have 3 universal joints, 2 of which are housed in the double cardan joint, along with a special centering bearing in the middle. The standard joints did not have grease nipples so can fail over time even if the vehicle is well looked after. Now you can rebuild these propshafts instead of replacing the whole thing. This kit contains three high quality GKN propshaft joints (including greasers) and the centre bearing.
