By installing a nut on to the switch before it is mounted through a guitar scratchplate or pedal case you can set the amount of the threaded bushing that shows above the surface by adjusting the first nut closer to the top of the threaded bushing, perfect if you want to get a flush look on the front of your guitar or pedal build.
