Synthetic 10% nitro was used (It's what I had to hand) and produced easy starting, smooth running and excellent throttle response. An excellent quality, 40 sized engine with no bad habits. This is being sold as a working engine so I only gave it a light cleaning and a shot of after run oil to the insides after the test run.
