A fine vintage marquetry inlaid wood tray with dazzling geometric patterns made from the wings of the brilliant iridescent Blue Morpho butterfly. It has side carrying handles. Turn the tray and watch the wings shimmer from purple to blue to dusty brown. The inlay and joining of different types of walnut wood add interest to this sturdy piece. It is finished with a glass top and a masonite board underneath. Condition-wise, there will be some age-related marks, (see image). Also aged related and marks of honest use.
