Power button , volume buttons and home button will work perfectly and have plenty of spring. Battery is superb and provided 24 hours of continuous music playback from a full charge with 50% charge remaining . Please bear in mind the screen was offered for this test so using the screen backlight continuously will reduce this figure. iPod connects to Windows and iTunes with no problems .
