Power home and volume buttons will work perfectly and have plenty of spring . Battery is great and provided 25 hours of continuous music playback from a full charge with 60% charge remaining . Please note this was achieved with the screen off so continual use of the touchscreen and screen backlight will reduce this figure. iPod connects to Windows and iTunes with no problems .
