I love this chair! I can't find anything similar so I am presuming it was scratch-built c1900. The oak frame is constructed without any nails or screws but is remarkably sturdy and has lovely patination. The rush seat is in great condition, although with a couple of small stains. The woven pattern of the seat is very unusual and quite beautiful. Ideal as a hallway chair, in a child's bedroom or even as a plant stand... definitely a talking point.
