A thermal actuator TA230 is a 2 wire thermal actuator that opens individual valves on a manifold, when a room thermostats tells it to. These are usually wired into an underfloor heating wiring centre, such as the Heatmiser UH4 or UH8. The actuator comes complete with a threaded ring nut M30 x 1.5 that is screwed onto the manifold first prior to fitting the actuator. The actuator clips onto the threaded ring nut for ease of installation.
