This is an antique Glastonbury chair. An English, oak armchair in Gothic Revival taste, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880. Exceptional example of the traditional Glastonbury chair. Crest rail accentuated with a repeat of the foliate pattern as seen upon the arms.
