The AKG C411 is a condenser microphone (structure-borne sound transducer) for recording acoustic string instruments. It is glued directly to the instrument and absorbs the sound from the surface of the resonance body. The frequency response of the AKG C411 is specifically tailored to acoustic string instruments. The sound of the instrument is reproduced unadulterated and very naturally. Since acoustic instruments vibrate differently at different points, the timbre can be varied depending on the point at which the sound is picked up. The AKG C411 L requires a power supply (phantom power) of 9 – 52 volts. It can be connected to pocket transmitters of radio systems or to a phantom power supply via the mini XLR plug. The connection cable is 1.5 m long. The AKG C411 PP requires a power su.
