At Ibanez we wanted to develop the iconic tube screamer further, with a redesign of the hand-wired flagship model. We have re -evaluated every component and tried to remain true to the transparent and in the middle of the focused sound of the pedal. After numerous prototypes, we came to the conclusion that the JRC NJM4558 OP-AM is essential to reach the legendary sound of the Tube Screamer. At the same time, this new design is able to create a wider Spektrum of sounds, thanks to the use of high-end components such as Mogami ofc cables, which increase the advantages of a hand-wired pedal. In addition, the power amplifier of the circuit was provided with a boost that increases the maximum output level by +6 dB. The appearance has also been revised and gives the pedal a high -quality appeara.
