DESCRIPTION: Vintage hand carved, ebonized wood elephant stool. Either African or Asian, with wonderful detail made from a single piece of wood. Tusks removed by previous owner. Hand painted, red tone eyes. CONDITION: Signs of age and wear. Missing tusks and wear around that area; small crack and chips to tusk holes. Old, original shim to hind leg.
