A Pair Of Victorian Cast Iron Embossing Presses, Black And Gold Decoration

A pair of antique Victorian cast iron embossing presses with black and gold decoration. Used in offices during the Victorian era to create a raised imprint, often for addresses or company seals, on paper. They are in good antique working order, with expected signs of age and use. They have been used more recently and have newer embossing stamps. The last photo shows their impressions. These can be removed and replaced using the 2 screws on the underside. They are incredibly heavy and will be packaged very carefully. 17 x 8.5cm and 16 x 8.5cm. The stamps produced are 4cm in diameter. Please check out my other listings, new items added regularly.
