This timber is planed flat. The surface has been given a final quick sanding with 120-grit. The timber is raw and untreated. I use a dehumidification kiln where the temperature never exceeds 50C. This allows the timber to keep its colour fully and not appear dulled as is possible in high temperature kilns.
