This lighter advertises Ryder Systems Inc. Ryder Systems started in 1933 when Jim Ryder started hauling concrete in his Model A Ford truck. They didn't start using the "Big R" logo until 1952. The lighter is in very good condition overall, showing signs of occasional use and pocket carry.
