This panelling is 'open backed' and is designed to be fixed to a smooth plastered wall using a grab adhesive, PVA or similar adhesive. The wall is still visible through the panelling. Joins between panel sections are very small and can be easily filled and sanded for a seamless look, as shown in the pictures.
