This sturdy squirrel feeder is constructed from FSC wood from our local sawmill in Bath. It is both weather tolerant and durable in its natural state without the need for a chemical treatment. The roof has a single hinge so that it can be lifted by the squirrels. The squirrels will sit on the feeding platform, they will quickly learn to open the lid to get to the food which is visible through the perspex panel. The feeder is hand decorated with three small hearts. It measures 23 cm high x 24 cm deep x 16.5 cm wide approximately. ( the nuts are not included.) The squirrel feeder is fixed to the tree or fence by using a screw . The feeder should be placed away from birdfeeders.
