This beautifully modelled piece bears the Tom Mackie impressed signature, together with the capital H inside a shield, which I believe is the logo for Heredities models, this one being titled "The Fell Pony", the base just has a plain black felt covering. This unusual model has been hand painted? as the pony is all black and the ground brown/green colouring, all in a satin gloss type finish, this model measures just over 7 1/2" across the base, standing 5 1/2" to the top of the ears, being in excellent undamaged condition, this realistically detailed piece will make a superb addition for a collector displaying well from any angle.
