This "Hairdressing Saloon" enamel sign is in "as found" condition. There are the usual enamel losses and nibbles to the enamel on the edges and around the mounting holes, there are also two small missing enamel patches to the body of the sign, as well as the scuffs, scratches, rust stains that you would expect from an item that has spent its' life outside. These is a little loss of colour in places to the stylish raised red and black shadow lettering, but it is still clear and legible, the white background also has a fair depth of colour. I have tried to show the condition in the photographs. It measures 102 cm (40 inches) wide and 30 cm (12 inches) high. This sign will still display very well.
