A superb prestine example of an original US Airforce aircrew watch. I have just had it completely dismantled cleaned & tested. It is in perfect working order & keeps perfect time. A remarkable condition for 1943 ,I would say almost immaculate,no corrosion acrylic glass very clean. Production no 31504896 / 1943(see research photo) A reluctant sale very very rare to find one of these historic watches in this condition. The strap is original but does have some marks on the inside (obviously this doesn’t show when being worn) These marks are adhesive as it was crudely stuck in a US B17 display case,with other relevant items .
