The Aico Ei1529RC Fire Alarm Control Switch is hardwired with a battery backup feature. Manufactured in 2019, this interconnect device is designed for use with existing Aico smoke alarms. This switch enables the user to test and silence all the smoke alarms within a home system without the need to climb up to any alarm in order to test or silence the alarm. It will also locate the first alarm which was triggered. This is powered by a main source and has a battery backup which will expire by January 2029, but with mains connection will continue to work well past this date.
