To use RS-485/RS-422, you would need external level converters. The included CD contains drivers for Windows (XP through 11), Linux, and Mac OS X. Windows 10/11 may auto-detect and install generic serial drivers, but installing the WCH drivers from CD ensures optimal performance and full feature support (including high-speed modes).
