This is a Huge and Heavy Japanese Buddha statue. The Buddha is expertly made from plaster and handpainted to a extremely high standard. It's a bit of a masterpiece. I've never had one this large and one that has been made so well with high attention to detail. the Buddha stands at approximately 1/2 a meter/19 inches Tall. It has been painted in the correct colours coming from the zen sect of Buddhism. black, gold and green. Made in Japan in the mid 20th-century. This is Rare and not easy to find in the UK.
