Mutoh's latest generation ValueJet sign and display printer liter packs offer the functionality of an ink cartridge but with the advantages of a bulk ink system. The ink packs are loaded into ink pack adapters that mount in the printer's ink slots. The inks are based on a new generation of mild and non-aggressive solvents and do not emit harmful VOCs in the work environment. They are almost odorless and do not require forced ventilation. The Mutoh UMS CMYK ink set covers 83% of the Pantone C® color chart. The unique blend of nano-sized, high-permanence pigments and resins encapsulates each color pigment individually, allowing optimal adhesion of the pigments to the substrate and producing an even, smooth, glossy ink layer. Prints made with UMS inks are water resistant and offer outdoor UV.
